Icon5 Lume Pearl on 11610

Can these be replaced? The pearl in my insert appears to be cracked. The watchmaker at my AD said it's not possible to replace it. I think he may be wrong...He also told me that insert swaps were impossible for average joes to do on the sub

Yes, they can be replaced and frequently are..

Many times it makes sense to replace the entire insert.... but that's a different discussion...

Well, I have a green LV bezel off a Y series. I'm never going to let them send it off to Rolex and to swap for a newer, greener bezel that wouldn't be correct for my particular watch.

So where do I go to get this done? Perhaps if I went to the RSC head office in Toronto their watchmaker could do it...would that be against Rolex policy? My guess is this guy can't be bothered to swap it.

I think that most watchmakers see more labor involved in a pearl replacement since the insert needs to come out anyhow..

give Rikki a pm.... I heard that he may have a couple of pearls...........
