Icon10 Marijuana OYSTERDATE

So my wife and I have some people over for dinner the other night and one of our friends was wearing an old Rolex OysterDate with a green marijuana leaf logo on a brown dial. My friend was recently in Paris and said that he found the watch in an antique store somewhere in the 6ème.

Here’s a picture of the watch. Has anyone ever seen this before? I’m hoping to get any information whatsoever about this piece so I can share it with my friend the next time I see him.

Btw, no one smoked any funny stuff before, during or after our dinner and the watch has since become my friend’s daily beater. Many thanks to everyone in advance!

Funny but sends a message I wouldn't want to portray for me...

It is definitely not original or sent from the factory this way.

Kinda like it

Well, it's not too bad.

Maybe in the USA the marijuana isn't accepted like over here.

It's easier to get a ounce of weed over here than meet somebody with a firearm, except police.

remind me to be at the front of the queue for a 'cocaine powder' meteorite-style daytona dial if one comes out!

Why.

very interesting! thanks for the post. I would guess, as another poster did, that it was painted on (assuming the rest of the watch is legit).

To me the MILGAUSS GV was always the Mary Jane Rolex!

Lame to the point of ridiculousness. I would love to see Rolex service centers expression when they got that in for service.

i said that they would "have" to service it....point being that, to me, the dominos pizza rolex is as ridiculous as a mary jane rolex. only difference being that rolex actually made the dominos one.
