If you mean does it have the Easy Link system of the half link being able to be pulled out.......the answer is YES!! Same as on the GMT-IIC.

Agreed, the bracelet and clasp on the latest Daytonas and GMTs are identical

I concur that they are identical. What I dont understand is why do they have different numbers. Daytona is 78590 but gmt2c is something different

Funny that you should ask,,,,,,,,,,, I know that answer.........

They are not the same...at least the entire bracelet which shares the same number as it's clasp is not............ and the answer is all the way at the other end....the end-link to be specific...

It shows the best at the back....... Here is the backside of the GMT 78200 bracelet at the end-links..

Here is the backside of the Daytona 78590 at the end-links..

So, even though the share almost the same new clasp, the bracelets are not the same at all and fit the wrist much differently due to the different angle at the end-link and the way it hugs the wrist..........

Hi Larry

thanks, that's fantastic, always learning something new here...

So it appears the Daytona has a 2 piece end link? I assume the separate centre section is fixed in place, ie. it does not pivot.. just wondering why 2 piece and what it's function is???

PS. This site should be made compulsory reading for ALL employes at AD's.. maybe we could even give them a quiz and then "pass" them on a basic knowledge test, BEFORE they are allowedd to speak to the public and sell Rolex's... ha ha

That's a great observation!
It goes to show the bracelets are actually tailored to the watch head for comfort.
