I love this topic
My wife doesn't like the way Rolex watches look, so I'd get her a nice moving diamonds watch from Chopard. I'd get a low-key watch for my dad, probably nothing more expensive than a 39mm Omega Aqua Terra. He's a simple guy who needs a simple watch. He wouldn't like to wear anything super-expensive. For my mom, probably a TT Ladies DateJust with black dial, since she loves TT and small ladies watches. For my future kids I'd get three watches: SS GMT IIC, SS Sub Ceramic, DSSD. I'd put them (the watches) in the safe, and only bring them out if a kid gets 18 years old. Myself, I dunno... Probably 4 watches, platinum Day-Date II, YG GMT IIC black dial, SS Daytona white dial, SS Sub Ceramic. But only one per year, so I have enough time to fall in love with every one of them |

For my wife, it might be a midsize YM. Eldest son would be pleased with a GMT II Black/Red and my youngest son does not have an interest in watches at the moment.
No body else seems to be interesed in watches apart from wearing one just to show off. I would not feed that desire. I wonder what I would buy for myself as at the moment I am quite happy with my collection!! Peter |

If I won the Lotto Powerball, first thing I'd do is plan a trip right across the USA, East to West, North to South.........and try and meet up with as many of my friends I can.
Rolexes can always come later..........my friends are more important to me!! JJ

first things first....I'd buy an island somewhere hot, build a fortress, fill that fortress with Rolies and I'd roll around in them for a while, then when I'd get tired, I'd buy a Dessault Falcon 2000 jet, fly all over the continent, pick up my family members and take them to an AD and cut them loose.

First thing I would do is fund my retirement accounts and give money to everyone on my side of the family and then my wife's side of the family. They would each be given a million dollars with the children's money being set up in a trust account. Then I'd go crazy with buying cars and Rolex watches......but of course the money wouldn't change me at all!!! LOL!!!

I'd just use the money and form a partnership with a proper experienced horologist to get the license to become a Rolex AD then not only do I get the watches, I get all the nice swag as well
