Rolex Explorer
I actually pulled the trigger and got a V Serial Explorer 114270 recently. The more I looked at the new Model, the more I didn't like it.
The 36mm size is perfect for me though I have worn a number of other 40mm Rolex. It will work nicely together with my 16200 and maybe in the near future an Exp II. |

Congrats, looks good on you! The Explorer is often overlooked, but I think it's a great watch.

An excellent Choice. This is the quintisential Rolex I think, beautiful build quality, understated, classy styling and superior comfort.
I was having coffee with Carl(carlhaluss) yesterday who has one. They really are the perfect watch, good enough for dress, work, swimming or just hanging out having a cup of Joe! |

Looks great, I think I am going to have to wait until the new one comes out and I actually have it on my wrist before I rule it out. But I will still buy one hopefully by the end of the year.

Great choice my friend that is a classy and clean looking watch... you have to add an explorer II now as well as I recently did!

My uncle recently bought one because he disliked the new one as well. (It was that or a wine collection, and I think he made the right choice)
