Do not quote me. Quick set date on watches like the Submariner you can jump from say the 3rd to the 23rd without stopping the time, only the date will change. On a non- quick set like an old Explorer II, you have to change the time in order to change the date. There is no setting on the crown where you can change the date only, you must change the time to advance the date (at 12 AM). Hope that helps.

That's the correct answer
It changed when Rolex gents automatic models went from 4 digit model numbers to 5 digits. All 10XX and 15XX with date function don't have quickset All 30XX and 31XX with date function have quickset. Jack BTW , dumb questions do no exist, dumb answers do though |
