1962 1016 with gilt dial
James Bond version. all original w/papers never messed with runs fast excellent condition. Is this a valuable watch. Thanks, a little old lady from Virgina.

Welcome! Pics, Pics and did I mention pics! Condition of the dial, hands and case is key here. If you have any of the booklets, boxes or papers that originally came with the watch, that would be helpful as well.

Pictures can say a thousand words... it is very hard to determine its price/value without having to see it.
It should be worth something, but not as much as a Glit dial Submariners or even GMT Master. |

It looks like it should look I will post pics but I am not computer savvy. What is the approximate value of this watch in your opinion? original box and paper. a Jewelery person dated it at 1962. Rolex band and original. Needs a Rolex servicing because it runs fast.

While we wait, here's an image for reference of the "James Bond" (Ian Fleming) Rolex 1016 Explorer wristwatch, as originally configured.
Mine is not for sale. Neither, to my knowledge, is Mr. Fleming's.
