Best selling Rolex of all time?

Which watch is the best seller in the Rolex line up? Datejust, Submariner, Air King?

I have always read that it was the Datejust but I can only imagine that sports watches (Subs in particular) have started to catch up especially since most of the books I have read were published ten years ago.

At my AD, DJ's probably comprise 70-80% of Rolexes. The SS Tool watches get the most bandwidth here but for Rolex, the DJ is bread and butter.

It has to be the DateJust. Likely the most copied as well.

If you take into account the millions of people living in Asia and Far East Asia and if you've had the opportunity to visit cities that are located there, you will realise that every Tom, Dick & Harry will be sporting a DATEJUST and that too the TT model on Jubilee bracelet.

That, in my opinion, is the world's highest selling Rolex - bar none!!

A visit to the AD will show the it has to be the DJ... otherwise why would they have so many on display. The have more DJ on display than all other Rolex watches combined.

I'll have to agree with DJ but with one caveat. DJ are available in literally hundreds of configurations. IMO, when speaking of a specific model, the 16610 reigns king.
