Help - Explorer II Cream ???????- Ebay
Hello,
The dial looks ok, but I noticed the bezel is not the boxed numbers. What do you think? Is it authentic? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...:X:RTQ:US:1123 Thanks |

Even if it is the real deal US $16,350.00 is a joke.

Agreed, that's what got me looking at it. Anything else look off?

Usually, when I see pictures this clear and close up, it tells me the seller is pretty confident that it's genuine. When you see pic after pic out of focus, rest assured, it's done intentionally to hide details of a fake. Of course, there's always the risk of stolen pics.

I believe the seller is a forum member, and a mega-collector in the SFO bay area.
If it is who I think it is, the dude's legit.

Thanks guys,
What about the dial numbering, it's the 'newer' style with the middle part of the 2 being angled downward, not horizontal. My cream EXII has the boxed numbers. I'm not sure if any creams had this type of bezel, but I'm not an expert. Any experts want to weigh in???? Thanks |

The price does seem a bit on the high end for a Cream 16550. But with the volatile vintage prices, plus the fact that this dude trades in vintages everyday, you never know.

The box is from the early 1970's. The warranty paper is in English.
It appears some of these accessories are mix and matched. The dial looks to be a correct "rail" dial.

Bezel looks ok to me... hands don't match the dial or the markers and may be replacements.
Overall nice rail dial exp II. |
