Bracelet sizing question

Hi guys

I have a newly acquired GMT-IIc and have been playing a little with the bracelet.

I have removed 2 links from the 12 o'clock and 1 link frmo the 6 o'clock side. This is a little tight with the middle adjustment hole, so I have to use the easylink to get a half size, which is then perfect.

So I can:

1) move to the larger adjustment hole, and put the easy link back in (save it for a time when wrist swells)

OR

2) put ONE 12 o'clock link back in, and then move to the smallest adjustment hole

Technically are they both give the same size?
And what is better?

Tahnks

Don't know but, what size is your wrist? What is your link count at 6 & 12?

Your links should use the least amount needed to fit correctly. You don't want 2 extra links pushing the clasp outward. The links should be even, or the larger link count to the 12 o'clock. Your close, but don't use the extra link if you can avoid it.

Depends on the shape of your wrist. Don't just remove links trivially

Remove enough link/s on each side so that your clasp is centered.

Correct! And it's preferable to wear the bracelet with the Easy Link tucked in rather than pulled out.

That way, the stress falls on the solid screw inside the last link rather than the micropin. You actually have a kinda DOUBLE support with the Easy Link tucked in.
