Hi TRF....
This a great condition Pre WWII British Issue Rolex Pocket Watch,in perfect running condition!! Made around 1940 to 42' and hallmarked with the broad arrow and issued as a backup watch to the military.....
The case is 52mm in diameter and made of nickle,signed by Rolex in great shape!! It has a small ding on the back case above the broad arrow mark but I couldn't get it to show well in pics......The front and back covers screw on and off as they should with ease!!
The dial is made of ceramic,Rolex signed and still as white as it was when made with no blemishes or marks at all..It does have a small chip at the 11 hour but not seen when front cover is on!!! Crystal is free of marks!!
The movement is a 15 Jewel .548 Cal,Rolex signed and still works acurately and strong for it's age...A manual wind and currently running 0 to +2 sec a day over the last 3 days.... The hands are the classic design for the period with a blue shade of colour to them with minor corrosion showing!!(need a loupe to see clearly)
Overall,a great collectors watch!!!
