Back when I worked for IBM if they would have offered me 250k to 500k to leave (and I know people that were) I would have been very happy.

Well, I'm a huge Conan supporter, so, take this for what it's worth...

NBC didn't pay $30 million or whatever it was to be "nice", it was because they had to. It's just a contractual matter.

I think Conan doesn't care that much about the settlement, what he cares about is the Tonight show. It was his dream job, and he's a student of entertainment history. The man thinks he didn't get a fare shake, so he's talking about it.

It's not about the money.
