Icon10 Dallas Braden just pitched a perfect game against the hottest team in MLB....

Yes the same dude who got into it with A-Rod last week!!

Huge Oakland fan here, and I'm happy as heck they just BEASTED on the Rays!

I think I heard there were 12,000 fans there today to watch the 19th perfect game in MLB history. I suppose tomorrow there will be 55,000 Oakland fans telling friends and colleagues that they were there to witness it all.

Nevertheless, big congrats go out to Dallas!

Man... nothing angers me more than this, even when Oakland is very competetive (1999 - 2007) they had a crap fan following.... I would be willing to bet there are more transplanted Oakland A's fans than there are in the Bay.

Which sucks because I can remember as a kid living in Berkeley how big the A's were.

I know what you mean about the attendance. I am a Giants fan but went to the A's home opener with some friends. Even the opener was not packed.

Great accomplishment for him and I agree it's too bad about the chronic low attendance in Oakland.

It is one of the worst ballparks in the major leagues though so that's probably at least part of the issue . . .

Good for him! #19. Nice. I'm happy for the history of it all, even if he seems like a punk.
