adjustment of GMT IIc

Sorry if this has already been asked a million times before, but is the bracelet on the GMT IIc user-adjustable without any special tools ? I'm expecting one shortly. I have about a 6 1/4" to 6 3/8" wrist. thanks !!!

Do you mean the easy link or the removable links?

Just use a jeweler's screwdriver (or eyeglass screwdriver) to remove the links and size your band. Easy as pie. Just make sure to tighten the screws afterwards! Also, make sure to put your spare links back in your watch box so you don't lose them.

For us small wristies, you will want to have 4 links on the 6:00 side of the watch head. This centers the clasp on the underside of your wrist while centering the watch head on the upper side of your wrist. The new Oyster bands allow you to do this, versus the old Oyster band which forced us to have 5 links on the 6:00 side, perpetually creating that floppy, watch drooping to the side look.

For the easy link, that simply snaps out to provide a 1/2 link extension when your wrist swells in hot weather. That and the clasp are the two best features of the new Oyster band!

I was hoping that I can adjust it without removing any links, but but it sounds like either way, I can use a miniature screwdriver to do this myself(?). Does the "EZ link" provide some adjustability without removing/adding links ? Some watches have 2-3 additional holes on the clasp so you can move the end link - I didn't see this on any of the photos I saw on the website. There is some interesting material in the reference library of this site that people have posted, but I don't have the watch yet, so it is hard to tell. I believe almost all watches I've had have required links to be removed (I've only had a Tag, Fossil, Seiko and numerous sports watches - first rolex). Maybe I have skinny wrists for a 6' person - or perhaps watches come with a large bracelet to fit most people.
