Closest AD to Aria Las Vegas

I'm not really pleased with our local AD (non-watch related, long story), and I'm trying to decide between an Explorer II and a GMT for my first Rolex.

Looking for an AD that's not too far from Aria/City Center Las Vegas where we're going in a few weeks.

Thanks

Aria is fantastic....but no rollies there. Closest is Bellagio (take tram from City Center to Bellagio); ok store. If you want selection, Wynn is a MUST. Check my review (was there last week)

I visited the Rolex shop at the Wynn and it was very nice. Prices are reasonable as well. The Explorer II is my first Rolex as well and i love it! The GMT IIC is probably going to be my next purchase. If you plan on getting another Rolex shortly after your first purchase, be sure to go ahead and get the white face Explorer II. I got the black face with the intention of "waiting" for awhile before another purchase. However, since i found this forum i have become addicted! soooo.... so much for that idea! Happy hunting and be sure to post pics afterwards.

How is the new Aria in Las Vegas anyways? They were still building it last year when I went.

Very nice when I visited in January, although we stayed at the Wynn. This is a guys trip - just poker and food and not much sleep.

I'll be playing some poker at the Wynn, so I'll check out the watches there.

Thanks

VERY nice and different. Think of Wynn/Bellagio as Ritz Carlton/Four Seasons. Aria like W

In Vegas, You can't walk ten steps without running into a Rolex display.

I never thought that I would get sick of seeing Rolex, but this was the first time I could ever walk past an AD and not want to have a look.

Luckily, there is also a plethora of all lines and models from patek to Omega to breguet and AP...It really is a watch lover's paradise down there...

Hey,

For your 1st Rolex, you are much better off getting the GMT!!! i have own plenty of Rolex's and I think the GMT is a much nicer model. The new GMT master for $ 7,000 blows away the Explorer II. However, if you like the explorer II, make sure you get it with the white dial. Good luck!!!!
