I used to have a Cartier similar to yours. I really liked it, but flipped it to help fund another watch. I wish I still had it.

I can sympathize with you. Six months ago I was unaware of TRF, and was wearing my Sub just about daily. A friend of mine who wears an SD, asked me if I knew how much a new Sub costs. I had no idea. I got my $180 Sub as an engagement gift in 1961. The addiction started after I researched the current price of Subs. Now I have a GV, and I'm restoring a Bulova 23 jewel automatic that I bought in 1959. I'll probably restore the Longines windup that my dad got as a retirement gift in 1955. I bought my first issue of WatchTime magazine today. I have other hobbies and interests, but TRF is like a second home. I think you'll like it here too. Great pictures, BTW!

When I joined TRF, I had just bought my 3rd Rolex. Look what's happened since!

I love this forum, but I've found that it's like quick sand, the harder you fight it, the more you get sucked in.....
