which of your watches you happy? describe your collection

I like this clock because it has an incredible machine, just one because the design is very original, this one because it's very accurate, I appreciate this because I leave it in my old estate, this one was one that my wife was very proud of it, the other because it was the first watch "serious" of my daughter, however this one because it has the mickey mouse and she was happy with it

this one because it's a tribute to an engineer who invented a little plane, and this because it is very comfortable to make classes, do not have to thread the buttons when you just measure the work of students, this has a counter in three colors, and this carries instead lemania 5100 with seven needles and flip me, this because it is elegant and imposed newman fashion, that it was the first 1000 meters, this is because is gmt and is blue when I start shirt joke that goes, that also one becomes a bit cute with that of watches

this because I was the lola, and that makes it useful, she likes to watch the evening hours on this clock, and this because I brought a friend of France and so I met him personally, which is a clock that showed me could be a bit like the people of the forum, and this because a friend gave it to me clockmaker who knew that I wanted to have a 36 000 alternations

but I'm happy with this

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Why? The day I discover and I will not be so happy I will be a little smart because you realize something about myself I did not know but I'm happy now that I carry

My collection

My little collection makes me happy. I have a brand new Sub LV, an Omega 300M Bond Seamaster, and a Suunto Core military. All of them are awesome

Gradually whittling away my collection of moderns in favor of the more collectible vintage sport models. References 1665 and 16750 in particular, really do it for me. Of the moderns, I suppose I'll always keep my 16610LV and my Omega SMP 2254.50.

All of this could change next week mind you. The last couple of years I was PAM crazy. What can I say? ;-)

I'm really happy with all my watches, but if I have to choose one, It would be my latest edition IWC Portuguese IW5001-14 and I will be happier once I'm done dealing with the mixed up case numbers on my guarantee card.

I do still need a Rolex in my small collection and I still can't decide 100% on which one to get as for now, but leaning towards the DateJust II since it's simple, classy and perfect size for me.

i like all my watches, thats why i got them in the first place. i have no desire to sell/trade them in the future, so they all have to sing to me first.

i have 2 more "confirmed" Rolex coming between now and end of the year... and whatever i get in between would be a bonuse

They all make me happy. I have a Panerai, a Rolex, two Omegas, an IWC, a Breitling... Every single one of them makes me smile when I look at it.

But - at the moment the one that makes me happiest is my Bell & Ross, because it has been away getting fixed and I missed it . Now it's back and I can't get enough of it.

And believe it or not, my Casio Pathfinder makes me just as happy. I love wearing it outdoors, and it reminds me of Hawaii (where I bought it on an impulse).

One of my favourites is this Omega, love my Rolex, but for me this one is the most striking, that case is huge, dwarfs the Sub. Some may say most ugly..

Great topic, here are some of my watches of interest.

I enjoy this one because aside from looking good its also the only known and verified example of a 1908 Wilsdorf & Davis, from the same year that Hans Wilsdorf registered the Rolex Tradename. This is pretty much the grandfather of all things Rolex:

The timeline on this old Moser is 1917, from Russia. The Czar and his family didn't make it through that year, but this watch did:

Ever seen the case/bracelet configuration on on OysterQuartz? Here's the prototype, a 1630. A 1530 non-quickset perpetual movement Datejust in what essentially ended up as the OysterQuartz case. This one's due for a major facelift, will probably get to it this year:

I'm very happy with my current collection.
1. Sub LV
2. 16610
3. GMT II Pepsi
4. GMT IIc (stainless steel)
5. Date Just w/ Thunderbird bezel (two tone)
6. Panerai 88
7. Tag Heuer Formula One

However, if pressed, I'd have to say that my SS GMT IIc makes me "happiest".

it's nice to have historical reasons to enjoy the watches, I think is one of the great things about Rolex watches any of those would come out running the service if you have any problem
