Nylon Nation Air force
So I'm sitting at the gate in Amarillo when I spot the flight crew coming up. The copilot was sporting a nato strap so I just had to say something.
"Love the nato strap", I said and pointed to my wrist. He said "oh, thanks", and he looked down at my wrist and said "cool, you have a Marathon!" He was wearing a MKII diver on a black nato and it looked great. He said he wanted one with a GMT hand but didn't want to wait to have one custom made. Gotta love it. dP

I feel his pain on the MKII wait. I put a deposit on a MKII in Feb 2009 for a watch that was supposed to start shipping in late 2009. They now have $900 of mine and still none of the watches have shipped. I feel I'll be lucky to get it before the end of the year.
