New Kid in Town

As some of you know my 111 and 90 have gone to new homes. In their place I've added a reference that has been in the back of my mind for a while.

While some might feel the dial a bit busy for a Panerai, the watch seems to compliment the diver's and GMTs quite well.

My newest--the 250.

Interesting method to advance the date on those short months,

Lume,

On the wrist,

For you eagle eye types it is indeed a carbon fiber strap. I just couldn't get around the alligator OEM so a carbon fiber was substituted.

Congratulations Mike, that's a fantastic looking piece

And there was me thinking you had a 320 or 233 on the way!

Cheers

LOL! Don't count out a 320 in the future my friend. I'm not sure when, but a 1950s case/in house is something I'd like to add.

I was amazed how comfortable the carbon fiber was after trying on a few pieces that had them. Maybe the best OEM strap I've seen.

It's a beaut and that's for sure.

Would I be right in saying there's an El Primero movement in that watch?

Paul, it's a V7750 movement--wobble and all. Many consider the Val movements to be real workhorses. All mine keep supurb time.

I had my AD put it on the timing machine before I got it.

Very nice addition to your collection, Mike. Looks great with the oem carbon fiber strap. I am also a big fan of that particular strap for my "dressier" PAMs.

Mike....WHAT!! When did you get this piece. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!

The BEST LOOKING PANERAI YET IMHO!

You'll have to bring it by the range! For an "in the flesh" look.

BTW Kevin the Gunsmith.
