So I got one of my grails today.

I thought I'd share with you guys a grail that I got my hands on today.

I've always been into cars, (since I was a kid and way before I was into watches) having a soft spot for old air-cooled Porsches, so years ago when I saw a picture of an old Heuer Carrera, I knew I would have one one day.

Still no Porsche yet (I'm only 23 and fresh out of university), but now I have one of my dream watches that I feel I will hold on to for a long time for it's lineage and history.

Anyone else have any old Heuer's they want to share?

Always liked the vintage Carreras. I have one of the modern versions, and love it.

Love those air-cooled 911s. It is a truly great grail to have. My grail was to own a YG DD and a 911 - I did it, but I've got a couple of decades on you. You seem like you're off to a great start.

Oh, yea - cool watch.

Great car and great watch....

Something about Heuer before tag makes me

Never cared for them since Tag got involved thought.

Wear that watch with pride and I hope to see a pic of you with that watch and car someday in the future
