Cannot find anything on this watch?
I purchased this watch in 1998 from Fendi NYC.
On the back the model number is 4500G I have done several searches for this watch and I cannot find any reference to it. The closest I come is the 4510 F451111 but the 4500G does not have the Fendi logo on either side of the case. I know my watch is genuine as I bought it from a Fendi Boutique but I do find it strange that I cannot find any information on this watch. I was thinking of selling it, the case has some scratches and it needs a new battery but I figured I could get a few bucks for it. I thought I could review some auctions and see what the going rate is, but I found nothing it's like the watch never existed. I was hoping that someone here might be able to give me the name and reference number for this watch. |

You say you bought it at a boutique but I must admit I have never seen that model without the FF and it be a genuine model.
Perhaps it is just not easy to find info as its a 12 year old model and has been updated since. I am sorry to say the current model sells for a couple hundred dollars used. Seeing as its not running and has wear as you stated I would not expect much. Sorry I can't be of more help

Thaks for your help!
I figured I would throw in a battery put it on Craigslist and (maybe) get 50 bucks for my trouble but I wanted to make sure I had all the information correct before doing so. There is a Fendi in the mall I might take it there and see if they know anything. I doubt it though I'll probably get some Italian goddess who will try and talk me into buying a suit (hey worse things can happen). You would think that there is a Fendi watch archive where at least you can look up out of production models. I'm obsessed now. |
