DSSD: Original Gas Escape Valve -- confusing
How come on the DSSD, they call it the "Original" gas escape valve?
Isn't the valve a new design, bigger size and different material than the 16600? thnx |

They didn't want to be "unoriginal".

Well, the 'original' was on the 1665, wasn't it?
There is a bit of background here http://rolexblog.blogspot.com/2008/1...interview.html half way down. I actually don't mind the text much on my Nascar-Rolex (i.e. the Deepsea given all the freakin' text on this watch :-)) |
