A Rolex AD will certify it for you......
Model and serial numbers are between the lugs on the watch case under the bracelet..You'll need to remove it to see them!!

PS: Welcome to TRF!

AD = Authorised Dealer....arggghhh...you beat me to it Rob!!!

As Rob said, if you remove the bracelet there will be two numbers stamped/engraved onto the case (one at 6 and one at 12 o'clock) under where the bracelet fits....one is unique to the watch, the other is the model number for all watches of this type....

The only sure way to authenticate it is to take it to an AD, they may need to remove the case back to check the movement.......but this is by far the best course of action to take for peace of mind..

The model number is also on the green sticker on the caseback from your pictures you have...I can't quite read it though!!!!
It is a 18K Datejust, not positive on Authenticity though....

There are some issues with this watch..

The bracelet is likely a replica or aftermarket as it is a "President" configuration, but no President bracelet was made to fit the 34mm case/19mm lug "Date" model..

Which brings us to the crux........... The Date also did not come with diamonds in that configuration on the dial, so perhaps it is a redone dial fitted to a DJ, which could then fit a bracelet with 20mm lugs.. A lot of work and expense for what you end up with

Take the bracelet off and see if there are serial and model numbers properly etched into the case........... the sticker on the back looks questionable too...

You also need to get that caseback off and see what's inside.......

As Bill and I have said,Your local Rolex AD is the only surefire way to prove if it's authentic...It may cost a small fee,but worth it to know!!

Rolex only uses VS quality diamonds on their watches! The diamonds on your dial is kind of cloudyOr maybe it's the camera

Thanks for the info guys!!

Will go to an AD and have them check it. I would remove the bracelet myself, if I could! hehehe..

Thanks guys! :)

I was honestly disheartened to learn that this might not be authentic - reading that some of you have written.

Grrr.... I was excited honestly and now - I'm a bit, hmmm... dispapointed??

HELP!!

According to the sticker on the case back, it looks as if it is a 15038 Date?
Bracelet and dial are probably aftermarket as Larry has intimated.
AD would be best bet to confirm all is well.

You are in Manila, Philippines.
Let us know how the AD would do it for you.
I hope they have the time to examine it and tell you the story.
