Life changing moments?

Well... the wife has a lump in her breast, went to the Dr. on Tuesday, they did 2 mamograms and an ultrasound, found a 3 cm growth. Did a biopsy at that time.

They told her the results wouldn't be available until Friday, talk about Pucker factor. I caught the wife last night looking at horrible pictures of breast cancer damage. It didn't matter what I told her, she was stressed to the max.

We got a call from the nurse today, turns out it's benign, some sort of fibro- something. Truth is as soon as she heard it wasn't cancer she tuned out. So now we've got a new lease on life and intend to make the best of it.

If you've never been in this situation, you can't imagine the thoughts that go through ones head. IE, what can we do to maximize life until the end? I say, the hell with it, let's maximize life EACH AND EVERYDAY!

- Chris

WOW Chris. I feel for you. Congratulations to you and your wife that it was benign. But what a hell of a few days you had there.

Thank God everything is going to be fine. I had a biopsy done 2 weeks and I'm still waiting for mine.

Amen to that - SO glad to hear your wife and family are ok. I try to cherish every day as corny as it sounds - my fiance and I never go to bed mad at each other either!

I am so happy for you that your wife is ok. Especially if you have any kids. Guys were not meant to be sole caregivers to children

Pep04, I hope yours turns out the same, Benign

I'm going to get another beer.

Great news.
My wife is a 3 year surviver. Driving my sister to chemo tomorrow, she'll be a surviver too.

I'm glad your wife got good news.

Give her some flowers tomorrow. And at least one big hug everyday.
