sounds like a plan Paul - but do check the spelling before handing that quote to your tattooist... ;-)

I'm a 23 year old single father of a 3 year old and sometimes I feel like I'm 40 when I don't have the time to work out. Also, don't ever give a
"stay at home mom" a hard time because the work is hard and there are not many breaks and the pay sucks!

Paul, get the tattoo if you really want it, but hopefully not just because of the movie.

I had a thread up about this before but I have been a pretty conservative guy my whole life, nothing too wild and crazy; (not counting flying combat missions). So, I thought I'd do something just out of the norm. Being a (so-called) executive, it obviously can't show, but I am leaning towards getting my favorite quote done real small on my upper shoulder. My quote is:

"Then we will fight in the shade"

Said by Dionikus, Lieutenant of Spartan King Leonidas, and said to a Lieutenant of Xerxes, king of Persia. I won't go through the whole story but it basically symbolizes something like: "We know the odds are against us but we're still going to kick your ass!" Just a "when the chips are down we're never going to give up kind of thing" Anyway.....

This is a big decision for me... but so is turning 50! So... what do you guys think?

Come to Rhode Island and I will go with you.

I did my thesis on the Athenian Naval commander, Themisticles, and made the point that it was his efforts that really saved the day.

Funny thing about the quote, Herotitus, the Greek Historian we got the story of the 300 from actually had it different. According to him, it was: "Good, then we will have our battle in the shade" But over the centuries the quote: "Then we will fight in the shade" has come to be predominently expressed.

Gee... can you tell I am in to this stuff?

Sorry for the enthusiastic reply.

Just a little tattoo? Tell that to my wife, who is, well...younger than her age!

No relation....but I still get carded, I wear a size 29 while my 14 yr old wears 28. The women I go out with make me look like a boy toy...and in some cases, that ain't too bad...but prefer to date those who look my age rather than be my age.

My medical tests from 2 months ago calculated better than most 25 year olds.
