it does look big but when i tried it on, it felt right. its heavy but if you got a big wrist its not an issue. like me! so you dropped your hard earned $9250? ;) thats what is making melook in our for sale forums ! pre-owned! how different is the new sub to old sub? people say that the new one looks bigger. im in debate still. ParisDakarBmw, they have one left at the Rolex Century City in Los Angeles. just fyi. That was this past weekend though. |

the Deepsy was about $1,100 more but for what you get, is worth it. the new sub ''looks'' a little bigger, is truth, and much nicer than the old sub without any doubt, but still 40mm so there you go, and the ceramic bezel on the deepsea and the new sub is GORGEOUS! |

That DSSD looks too small on your wrist................
Congrats on buying the watch you like. Looks good on you, too.

Congrats!
I love the DSSD! Wear it in good health.
I've long considered the DSSD, but I'm stocked on 44mm plus watches. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a SUB-C for a daily wear. While, I have a GMT2C many times I think that the polished center links on the bracelet make it just to pretty for everyday wear.... Insanity I tell you! |

i was one of the haters when i first saw the pics.....too thick, too much writing on the dial, too small of bracelet. I wanted something bigger than my gmt IIc as I am into panerai now. Tried on the deepsea and bought one....I now love everything that I hated when I first saw the pics of the beast...dont knock it until you see it and try it on.
I love the wrist presence, the thickness, the weight and the adjustable bracelet is awesome. It's a keeper for me for life. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

It is the only stainless steel sports watch worth wearing now, everything else pales into insgnificance. And thats from a guy who has owned and loved 10 submariners 1 GMT 1, Explorer 11, and a daytona, which i couldn get on with cos there was no date, i thought i would miss the cyclops on the DEEP SEA, but i havent. Congratulations and welcome to the club were the deep sea is the holy grail............
