Non USA RSC
about last month or so, there was a get together in taipei, taiwan. i was really impressed by it, and thought how come none of us knew about it on trf. so i eventually found out the get together was organized via another watch forum, and it was chinese (taiwanese to be exactly, but let's not get political here).
so i was just on the watch forum browsing around and i saw a very interesting topic regarding the service costs, and how the prices are increasing and etc. i started reading the post and found out that the prices they were talking about... sooooooooooo cheap compare with the prices in the states. for example, a complete service in taipei rsc is $6,000 NTD, which is a little less than $200 USD. how much are we paying at the rsc in ny and dallas?? am i the only one that doesn't know about this? i am going to call the taipei rsc in a few hours to find out. even though the rsc service charges are different in taiwan, but i know that the prices for the watches are still the same. that made me feel better a little bit. |
