What do you think - Should I go for green now?
Dear friends,
I got a new SubC black (116610LN) recently, and it has not left my wrist since i bought it. http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/4397/1166101.jpg But...I see more and more pictures of the green one, and recently I had a chance to see the 116610LV in flesh..... What can I say, WOW!!! What do you think, should I go for the green as well? Any way, I will keep my black because I never get sick to look at this classic. But I could flip some of my older models, including the classic 16610LV and my bluesy 16613. What do you think? Regards Tom |

Tom, which LV do you prefer if you only have 1 choice? The new or the old?

Tom, I got the LN and liked it. The next day I got the LV (from an other dealer) and I immediately knew the LN would only sit in my safe. Not good so sold it and kept the LV.
I would think you can sell your LN quickly without a loss so would do that. Why lose money on the others ? The new LN will be available with a discount in a year or so if you decided later on you can't live without. Think that would be your cheapest way into an LV.

After one day only, you decided to sell the LN and go with the LV. WOW, strong argument for green.... Thanks for the input, Denis. Greetings from Switzerland to Belgium Tom |

ONLY if you can ascertain for SURE that the green dial is 18K solid gold - a very controversial subject as of late.
Othewise, I wouldn't throw those extra $$$ on some plated crap!!

They confirmed that the dial is 18K solid gold with a special treatement to show that green colour...This might be the reason for 500 + $ vs. the 116610LN. Well, I think I am done... Tom |

So I pre-ordered the LN, no LV. When I got the LN I decided to call my back-up AD to see if he had gotten the LV (my AD only received one LN). And he had so I rushed over to see it, bought it on the spot and the rest you know. The LV is breathtaking in normal light and am so happy I got it.

Wow, I figured the green-gold was just gold mixed with the green paint. If it is indeed a solid gold dial, that makes it a bit more interesting.

Flip the blue, keep the LV.
That would make an awesome rotation: Sub-C, LV, LV-C.
