I dropped my rolex explorer and the crystal dial basically shattered. Watch movement stopped as well.

Is it possible to fix the watch? What should I do?

I would take it to the Rolex Service Center in NYC. Your location indicates you are in NYC. They will tell you what is wrong with the watch besides the crystal and fix it up for you.

Not uncommon for the a watch to stop when dropped on a hard surface.

Like suggested above, bring it in to RSC on 5th Ave. and get an estimate.

NY RSC will probably charge you for a service and a new crystal.

I'm sorry about the damage, but it will come back looking like new (after they lighten your wallet).

Pull the stem out to keep the watch from moving if it starts back for any reason. The last thing you want is glass crystals grinding inside the movement.

Send it to RSC for repairs

Bummer, brah......drop it off at NYC RSC ASAP, Monday @ 9am, don't even think about it, let them do whatever has to be done....it will come back as new! Once you have it on your wrist, the expense will be forgotten.

Another ouch...just curious, how high off the ground was it, and what kind of surface did it fall onto, e.g. concrete, wood floor, etc.

My sister in law dropped a two month old womans no date
oyster perpetual. Crystal cracked and movement stopped as
hands bent. Cost her over 700 bucks to have roles service
it. But, it has been great for the past almost three years.
