My 1680 is now RED!!!
I very excited!
My watch maker called and I can pick up my 1680 tomorrow. He installed the red dial and hand set I recently picked up. I will post pictures once I have the 1680 back. I was very luck you stumble onto the dial and hands before I left Hong Kong. They are from a good dealer and were a fair price. Most importantly the dial is correct for the serial number of my 1680. - Arron

Now with red!
Here it is...
I need to get use to the patina. This red dial has a slight marbling on the markers. The hands have oxidation and dark spots. My old dial and hands were clean and white.

Thanks. I will live with the patina as the price was very good. I could not pass it up.

I was thinking of putting this faded bezel inset on the watch. But I decided it was too faded and not of my liking. I will try to find one that is darker.

I love the red, but think the insert is too faded.
