My AD called...with "grand" offers...what do you think ?
I am currently in Europe where I thought I will escape the summer heat of Florida
Well guess what..I am burning with about 43C. and 60 humidity. So no matter what I do for a bit of natural coolness ...the central heating feeling persists...so what do I do ? I am staying indoors with a great A/C and a bit of forum news - nice view of the Agean too. Oh before I forget///as I was saying in my "epikephalis" My AD called, he has a like new Z serial Rolex Daytona with a white dial and engraved chapter ring special offer for me Only 10,950 euro...WOW Also a 116520 white dial Daytona F serial ...superb...for 6500 euro And a GMT-II-C 116710LN M serial for only 3500 euro I do not want these watches at the moment (I am on vacation -indoors- ) BUT it will be a pleasure to aquire them for you...AND... only if you are in Europe EU or UK Looking forward to see you all soon when back in Florida (end of 09/10) |

I was recently in Greece and was offered some ripper deals by an AD there including:
-brand new white dial Daytona V serial 9000 Euros -brand new black dial Daytona V serial 8700 Euros Seems the Greek ADs (especially Athens) are really struggling at the moment... |

These prices in Euros do not seem that great IMO, even taking the VAT return upon leaving the EU. The retail price for a Daytona in Spain is 7,505 Euros and at an F/X of 1.28 that's $8,357. I posted about this earlier in this subsection of the forum - if you want the name of the AD that has them in stock for sure (and yes, they will sell to you without the need for the BS long term, "you've purchased there before" relationship) feel free to PM me. Saludos!

Slight correction to my earlier post as I didn't notice the price for the GMT - clearly, for a used, or especially new, GMT that's a good price. The Daytona pricing seems less "great".

The way I look at it, it is an offer by the AD to TempoKing.
If anyone is interested, TAKE it or LEAVE it! |

Say Hello to Toni for me............So I must be Tempoking... These Daytonas & GMT are not for export as it is hard to buy preowned watches with tax free certificates if it was available the prices would have been higher... Dont ask me why... because if I knew the answer to that I would have been a CPA...lol Only for European buyers...absolute bargains... for those of you that trully know prices 1. 116528 euro 10,950... (GBP - 9200) 2. 116520 euro 6,500 ....(GBP - 5800) 3. 116710LN EURO 3500 (GBP - 2990) |

When you consider that prior to the Greek financial crisis BNIB daytonas were selling in Greece all day every day for 12000 euros+ (if you could find one) these are great prices. Anyway, I passed on these and picked up a BNIB random serial Sub LV for 30%off rrp!!!!!

good stuff Anastasios!
where abouts are you "viewing" the Agean? 43C must be a killer outdoors, i thought i was suffering in the 38/40C heat last week for some reason, i always walk by the Rolex AD between 2pm and 5pm... so never had a chance of looking what they had in the windows and i'm surprised there were no Rolex AD in the Athens Airport ps - how is the Hatton Gardens setting up going? |

All the prices that you have mentioned are before VAT? Or after VAT?
