DSSD-First 24 hours

My DSSD!

Well, as you have seen on my striptease ( http://************/showthread.php?t=139862 ), I bought the DSSD. I have worn it for almost 20 hours and here are some observations.

Pros:
1) Beautiful watch, colors and lume really look good
2) People have already complimented it
3) Diameter is perfect and fits my 7.25" wrists (2 links removed) very nicel
4) Very Exciting looking Rolex, you dont see many of them
5) LOVE the Feel and functionality of the Bracelet. The adjustments are very nice (took me a couple hours of wear and tweeking).

Cons:
1) Very Thick. Looks almost like a Chunky Bar from the side. Even my wife commented on the thickness.
2) I am a nervous nelly, The watch looks "prone" to scratches and smudges.
3) I am a jubilee bracelet fan. The oyster bracelet takes a few hours to get comfortable with. Thank goodness for the adjustable DSSD bracelet.

**All in all, THIS WATCH ROCKS! It is a very different looking Rolex, but I think that is why I "fell" for it.

Al

You hit the nail square on the head with your pros n cons observation of the DS. Wear it often and in good health.

Congrats, I love my DSSD as well. No one notices when I wear the daytona, but the deepsea gets plenty of compliments.

Congrats! Don't worry about the bumps and scratches...most likely your wall will get a dent and the watch will be fine! LOL

You will get scratches and dings...it happens with any watch.

Wear it and enjoy this amazing watch!
