Anyone see the new Explorer in US AD

So a good friend of mine, who is out of town on business got a call from his AD that they have the new Explorer in stock. Has anyone seen one of the new E-1s yet at their ADs?
If so, what are your thoughts about the watch.

Rick,
From what I understand there were a very very few number of pieces of the Basel collection delivered in the USA... You will not see the rollout until August but still in very very limited quantities..

Not in US ADs yet, but I'm sure the gray market will have it before it hits US showrooms.

I have to say, I like the proportions of the 36mm Explorer. That said, perhaps the hands on the production watch are longer than the Basel watch we have seen.

Is your good friend in the US?

I find it a little hard to believe that the revised Explorer is already in stock in the States, as it hasn't been released here in the UK or Europe yet

...and my thoughts about the watch?... I it!

Well, another guy on here got the first Sub in the US. Hopefully this means the Explorer will arrive shortly too. I may not get the first Explorer, but it will not be from a lack of trying. I cannot wait to see this thing in the wild.

Out of curiosity, what part of the US is your friend in? I certainly hope he bought it.

Hmmm... I just called them fully ready to purchase. The guy told me they had only received the Submariner, but not the Explorer. The wait continues.

I have not but really am anxious to see one. I am thinking that it's going to be one that I'll want to have.
