I don't see what the fuss is all about! Nothing is wrong with modding the watch to make it more tasteful to yourself. Especially when the end result looks pretty cool!

and what about the rolex's that still have no gaurds as stated... daydate, datejust milgauss among others... obviously it still works great and rolex still uses the no crown gaurd cases till this day, so im not following you.
