A and E Watches sells fake Submariner Anchors
Just wanted to post a quick note about A and E Wathes on Ebay.
Bought a Sun Anchor from them, Not sure why as I have a few around, but thought it would be cool to have a few as they no longer make them. Anyway spend about $10 at A and E Watches. The anchor is a fake. The finish is rough looks to be a re-cast. I compared it to the one that came with my sub. If you want a toy, buy from them. If you want a real Rolex Anchor, don't buy here. Spend the extra 10-15 bucks and get a real one. The craftsmanship (if you call it that) on the anchor is terrible. Just trying to save a fellow member future disappointment. Cheers, Mark |
