FSOT: Rolex GMT 1675 Pepsi Bezel from 1972
FSOT: Rolex GMT 1675 Pepsi Bezel from 1972. The watch was service last by the RSC in
1999 as indicated inside the caseback. At that time Rolex replaced the original dial with a service/replacement dial. Around 1997 Rolex started used Luminova on their dials but they had a number of dials printed "SWISS T<25" left. So they left the printing on the dial but applied Luminova instead of Tritium on the markers. This is an early "error" replacement luminova dial from Rolex marked as a tritium.....rare and collectable. The 7838 folded link bracelet is original to the watch with 12 links. The date wheel is the "open 6" type. The 1570 movement is crisp and running to about +/- 10 sec/da. The bezel is very tight and difficult to turn so it could use some adjustment. Not polished since Rolex service in 1999 so the lugs are not worn down and pretty sharp for it's age. Looking for other sport watches in trade from Rolex, IWC, Panerai, Omega, Sinn, etc. If you have something to trade let me know the condition, what comes with it and the trade value. The watch must not have been worn. ~ PRICE..........$3725 plus shipping and insurance |
