Definitely try Ortanique on the Mile, Cafe Vialleto, Flemings, Smith & Wolensky.

If you have any questions, pm me.

I probably wouldn't bring a client here(depending on your occupation), but Chez Le Bebe(Haitian) is one of the best restaurants I've eaten at.

Definitely not in the nicest part of town, but wonderful Haitian food.

Given both you and Pep recommended Azul, will give that a go too.

Also check Yelp.com for reviews of the restaurants, menus. Definitely helps choose the right restaurant.

For a classic Miami meal, try Joe's Stone Crabs on Washington, amazing stuff.

Since you're staying at the Fontainebleau, you're ideally situated! Gotham and Hakasan are great. For sushi, Blade is ok, I highly recommend Doraku on Lincoln Road (shameless plug - a good friend of mine is the manager). Meat Market is also very good. For a more casual dining experience or for a nice breakfast or lunch, check out Big Pink.
