Vintage nostalgia today:

Old 1940´s, Pery, little known swiss brand, but fantastic dial and good accuracy in spite of its age.
Have a nice week end friends!
Very cordially, Abel

Thank you Soliman!! I´m glad you like it!
Dial is some kind of bronze or champagne color, and got quite bit of nice patination, as well as some unwanted very little corrosion spots, which is usual in this kind of vintage watches.
Movement is pristine clean otherwise, and working peprfectly in spite of its age.
Thank you again!!
Kind regards, Abel

I can only imagine what kind of strange looks people give you when you are taking pictures of your watch by the coffee machine...

Nice dial.

Would you happen to know what it's made of? It resembles fabric.

Good question. I don't know. It was bought in March 2002 (my father's wedding gift to me for my first marriage). It's a quartz Constellation (he doesn't know enough about watches to know I wanted an automatic and I've never said a word about it to him or anyone else until this post). It's the same dial that is on this one: http://www.omegawatches.com/gents/co...on-95/12123000 They call it "silver" on the site. It isn't silver in color or material. It is a very nicely textured surface though and one of the main reasons I love the watch.

As an aside, it came back from a service today (got a new case back to replace the old that had my previous wedding date engraved) and the second hand no longer lines up with the markers when it ticks (this watch ticks second by second rather than sweeping though the seconds). Is that something that would be an easy repair? Should I not worry about it?
