What years were the WG Meteorite Dial Daytona made?
Is it odd that an AD still has a Z serial number one? Should I be worried if I were to buy it?

IMO the WG Meteorite Daytona is a Rolex flagship. It is a reasonably expensive purchase and not a sale an AD would make every day/month/year.
A 'Z' is a few years old but has not changed to date except maybe for the bracelet? It would be a good buy if the AD was prepared to sell it at the original retail price perhaps with a bit of discount for an 'old' model. Your query is probably one of the reasons why Rolex has moved to a random numbering system for their watches. They will now know when the watch was made but we won't.
