Yeah, it was in the forties here this morning. This is a common thing in Florida - in the 80's for weeks during most of March-April, and them BOOM!!! freezing for Easter. It almost never fails! The weatherman (not a real job ) always says "Well, it looks like the cold weather is behind us", only to get slapped with "Record Lows" right about now!

Guaranteed to be back in the 80's later this week, though.

That's my kind of weather Perfect for drinking beer while grilling up some burgers or other fine specimens of dead beef

Exactly!

And as for what to wear down here with such changeable weather, we all use this rule-of-thumb: Our Winter (cold weather) clothes are our Summer clothes - with a jacket!

Well I need comfort. I used to collect rare quarters, specifically 1927-S. I had 405 of them. I sold them for $5,500. Today I looked up their value and fainted. They have increased by over 5,000%. So I have decided to get them back. So rather than getting a Rolex, a Tag, or a Lexus, I will commit 2007 to buying 405 of these quarters as fast as I can (before the price goes up again) and retain my collection.

JUST ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF SOMETHING I REGRET SELLING.

Sorry, Davor, this is the best I can do.

It's not a Sub - it's better.

No, not exactly. The SD has a bit thicker crystal as compared to the modern Sub,

Older references used acryllic crystals designed to be changed as part of service. Acryllic has a tendency to develop stress cracks after years of use. Even NOS acryllic has been known to develop these cracks and therefore not seal properly.

The 1680 was unique in the use of the "top hat" crystal,

However the 5513 used a domed crystal, as seen here compared to a modern Sub,

Perhaps the nicest IMO was/is the superdome used on the 1665,

Of course the KING is,....LOL!
