Papers in the Safe
I always put the papers in the safe and I store the watch boxes in my office closet. Because the papers/warranty cards cannot be replaced I try to keep them as secure as possible.

I keep box/papers/warranty in a safe within a vault at my bank. You'll need my signature and a four sequence safe code to access. Vault door is open 10-2 Monday thru Friday.

I keep my paperwork seperate from my boxes and watches. My boxes are in a closet, watches in a safe and the paperwork I keep in a safe deposit box at the bank.

Ditto here. My papers get scanned, images backed up on a portable drive, and originals go to the safe deposit box. If a watch gets swiped at some point, I still maintain some proof of ownership.

Boxes in the closet, papers in a fireproof safe in my bedroom.
