So easy to change the bezels so get a GMT with any bezel, as long as the watch itself is sound. My GMT came with a Pepsi but I recently got Rolex to switch it to a black for a change. I love the Pepsi bezel as its so iconic but I have to admit the black looks fantastic, especially with my jubilee bracelet.

"The Rolex with a thousand faces"

I like that Dan. You should be an Executive VP in Rolex's advertising and marketing department.

Seriously, how many variations are there for a GMT. There are two bracelet alternatives (Jubilee and Oyster) for each bezel so that's 6 options. If we say the Super Jubilee is another option that brings the total to 9 options. Adding a leather strap, 12 options and a Nato 15 options.

The most versatile watch ever.

Thanks, David! Still waiting for that first paycheck.

When purchasing the black/ burgundy insert at Rolex St James a couple years ago I explained to the RSC tech I had both style bracelets and now all three bezel inserts. He replied that he was surprised every GMT owner didn't do the same.

Well I'm one bezel away from having the full set - I am going to get a Coke bezel in the winter and I've got an Oyster and Jubilee bracelet, but one day I'm going to get that Super Jubilee.

How long do you think Rolex will keep these bezel insets in stock for, now that the original GMT is discontinued? Do we need to horde them up in case they disapear and only become available for ludicrous prices on the used market.

Good question, David. My watchmaker [w/ Rolex parts account] was able to source new inserts for my mid 70's Tudor Sub and early 90's Big Bock from Rolex so I think because of all the GMTs sold over the years these inserts should be available for quite a while.

I like the Pepsi colors better, but you can easily buy and change the bezel insert to Coke, or all black.
