Icon20 The new sub c2010

New to the forum - just picked up my first Rolex sub c -

What side should I have the links removed and how many do you recommend for a 7inch wrist and on what side of the watch? The AD removed 1 link but to me it looks like I've got more links on the 6 o'clock side than the other. Is this normal?(sorry if this has been asked a thousand times before!!)

Welcome to TRF Kermit and a big congrats on the Subc!!
It's not uncommon to have more links on one side than the other, the main thing is that the buckle is centered to to your wrist..If that's all good,no need to worry!
Enjoy the site,
Rob.

I would say that it comes down to whatever is most comfortable for you, but all mine have fewer links on the six o'clock side.

i have a 7.25" wrist and i had 2 links removed at the 12 oclock side and the glidelock is at its smallest "lock" - it gives me a comfortable fit.... so for a 7" maybe another link off, the adjust the glidelock for a better fit.

not sure which side it should come off for you though. for me, i have always kept 5 links at 6 oclock side and the clasp is in the middle of the wrist (as close as possible).

congrats on your frst Rolex!
and welcome!

Typically you will always have more links on the 12 side because of the way the wrist is made and the bones rotate when you view the watch..

For a somewhat small wrist, the new bracelets have an additional link on the 6 side that can be removed.. I would recommend that you have all the removable links off the 6 side, and any extras all on the 12 side for a 7 inch wrist......

Usually you take off more links on the 6:00 side so that the bracelet clasp and head of the watch are both centered on your wrist.
