Ok guys, once again...which would you prefer? - I'm just interested in your opinions :)

Or

GMT Master II

If it were me...

I would look a couple posts up (The one that has the heading: First post here...and a new watch to mark the occassion...) at the 166100LN and not look back!

Like them both But GMT 2 for me better resale (perish the thought) functional, if you use the functions and I like the tool models.

what purpose will this watch serve? daily wearer? If so I would go for the GMT. But if you already have a sport model maybe pick up the datejust for special occasions.

It would have to be the DJ2 simply because it looks great. I would say the GMT is more common of the two models. From a distance it's possible to mistake the GMT for a sub because of their similar aesthetic features, but the DJ2 is easily identifiable. Both designs are iconic for Rolex, but I feel a Datejust wins in the recognition game. My two cents.

I would say the GMT TT as it serves a wider range of needs and has the
2nd timezone hand which is helpful when you're out of your local timezone.

Good luck as they are both great choices!

I went through the same process when I bought my first Rollie, and it was not a difficult choice for me after seeing the watches in metal. I opted for the TT DJII

I'd go with the DJ 2 between those 2. Really not a fan of the GMT...

I'm torn on that one. Probably the GMT II C in two tone...just because I like the two tone more on that watch than I actually like the steel. Looks like it'll be a good choice no matter how you decide :)

I'm a DJ fan, but I'd always go with the classic which in this case is the GMT.

I have the same problem.
I cant decide between DJ with roman dials and GMT master II.
Check my thread.
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...ghlight=116713

The more i look at the GMT II pics the more i like it.
I am invited to a cocktail party at Rolex and will make my final decision.
