Went to Bonaire 10 years ago. Would love to go back but it's such a PITA coming from the west coast. We stayed at plaza resort bonaire. Had an awesome time. Did you go to Washington state park? Do they still make you take the class to get your diving "medalion" for the marine park?

We did not go to the Washington Slagbaai National park on this trip. We have been to Bonaire ~ 2x / year for the last 4 years, and went several years ago. They do make you do a "check-out" dive if you have not been diving there recently. We had just been there in April 2010, so we did not have to purchase a new Marine park pass, nor were we required to do a check-out dive. That is the main reason that we decided to go back............We saved 50 bucks by not having to purchase the pass

Awesome pictures Jason!!
I have been diving in Bonaire several times, and always find terrific views underwater everytime. I favorite little spot in the Caribbean. Just love it, and your pictures bring me so many nice memories!
Thanks for sharing those fantastic photos!
Best cordial regards, Abel.

Great photos. I gave up underwater photography back in the days of film cameras. I grew frustrated with getting one or two decent shots on a 36 exposure roll of film. I've never made the financial jump into housings for my digital Nikons.

No we have stayed several times at Happy Holiday Homes, we have rented a house a couple times up in Sabadeco, and we have stayed in a Condo at Lighthouse Beach Resort. Our favorite area to stay is in Belnem.

Here is a picture off the back Patio of our rented house from this trip. Steps right down into the water from a private home. Truly paradise

Awe-Sum!

Thanks for the effort and for posting Jason! I know that wasn't the easiest thing to do and I appreciate the care in staging and selecting some just plain COOL shots.

Keep up the good work!
