Really bummed
I looked at my watch tonight an I discovered a tiny chip on the edge of the cyrstal, I don't know if I can live with it.Is there any way a watchmaker can polish it out?

A CHIP on the crystal? No you can't polish scratches on a crystal (if it's deep enough), let alone a chip. You need to get it replaced, should it bother you alot.

No biggie. Ride it out until the next service, and then get it replaced.

A couple of watches that I wear when I'm doing stuff outdoors have chips around the crystal... You need to run your fingernail around the edge to find most of them, but they don't bother anything..
I also had a GMT that a larger chunk broke out of on the edge - almost the size of a BB. That one I felt needed a new crystal, but Rolex felt that it should be serviced as well since a chunk on the outside could translate to slivers on the inside that could get in the movement..
