My Friend's Day-Date White Gold!!

One of my business partners used to be a professional tennis player in Mexico and participated in several tournaments in the 70s and 80s including The Davis Cup, Wimbledon, ATP, etc. Back in the days, Rolex gave him a bunch of watches to wear while playing as their payment to have him as an endorser and brand ambassador. Today he still wears them with pride and gets invited to some of the most amazing Rolex events WW.

Here are some pics of his beautiful DD in White Gold!!!

(Sorry about the lint on the first pic. I just noticed that.)

Enjoy!!!

Are you sure that one is Platinum and not WG? The clasp says 18K, which I think signifies white gold. It is certainly a beautiful watch either way!

He was really a great player. He was a star at Lamar University and then from there got into the ATP.

Beautiful watch!

FYI, platinum Day-Dates were never offered with a fluted bezel.

A shame, I really like the fluted bezel look.

Can't form platinum into flutes?

I just noticed too, that I've never seen a platinum DD with fluted bezel.

Thanks for pointing it out, Renato.
