Does anyone use the Bergeon 6825 springbar tool?

I was hoping for a little help. I was trying to change my jubilee bracelet on my D series pepsi GMT II to an oyster bracelet. I have the Bergeon 6825-with the fork tip ends to be compatible with rolex. However, the fork tip ends are still too wide to fit in the slot where the spring bar is located to remove my jubilee bracelet.

Anyone run into the same issue, and/or have any advice?

Thanks a lot.

Justin

numerous collectors have the same problem with the 6825, and will grind down the forks a bit so they can fit into those slots more easily.

No need for that; just get the 6111 and all problems solved - fits perfectly for any spring bar...............and even for the adjustment of the micropin inside the clasp (for those clasps without external holes, as in the new GMT-IIC).

Thanks guys!

I managed to put on my new bracelet, mangled the old one a bit with the filed down forks, but mission accomplished! Oh, and I ordered the 6111 for next time!

I'll swap you your 6825 for my 6111. Can't say fairer than that

Note: As JJ has advised in the past, make sure you get the Bergeon 6111. I ordered one last week and they substituded a inferior tool, even though I did specify Bergeon . I have called and they will replace with genuine Bergeon, for a few more bucks, but free shipping. Regards

Someone just pm'd and told me that Bergeon now has a special model 6825FF with fine fork ends, just for bracelets from that swiss company that starts with an R and ends with a x.
