Green face daytona

Hi, while browsing in the rather amazing Dubai Mall today came across a green face daytona?! Never knew they existed. Also had a leopard print face in stock as well as other rolexs dripping in diamonds. It was a rolex Ad as well. Amazing area of watch shops in the mall if all high end makes. A wis dream! Took a photo but cannot upload till home from my hols!

Rolex did several colors on white gold (the 'beach' daytona), came with matching leather straps. Yellow, blue, pink, green....

Yikes! Looks like something my 6-yr old daughter would wear to go along with her Barbie dollhouse.

Well yes its a ladies Daytona watch thats what they were intended for but normally a bit older than 6 years old and very poor sellers in general.

That's right. I've seen them in person and the blue one looks OK to me; though it is certainly not something I'd buy for myself.

Hidious. But, I thought the green sub looked funny earlier this year when photos first came out, and, well, uh, er, I HAVE ONE. And, love it.

Yep rolex dropped the ball with this range. White gold too so they were very expensive for a terrible terrible cheap look.

Poor sellers yes, but my AD tells me that collectors know that when it comes to Rolex, "poor seller'' equals "scarce'' which sometimes equals "good investment'' - as in the case of the original Milgauss, Daytona and Exp II, all of which sold poorly but sell for high prices today.

So there is demand for the watch, just as there is for the Leopard Daytona...

Not sure if the same collectible/investment argument can be said of the colorful Daytonas since they are in white gold and not S/S, but there you go. With Rolex, you never can tell.
