Rolex Leather Strap for a 36 mm Date Date.
Hi All,
I am looking into changing the president bracelet to a leather strap. I would like to, if at all possible, keep everything as Rolex genuine as possible....and hence this thread. Can anyone advise as to where and/or how I may obtain a genuine leather strap for the 36 mm Day Date. Thanks. |

Rolex will not allow you to buy a strap from one watch and put it on another. Just put this post in the WTB secion someone might have a Cellini strap W/ clasp to sell you. You can try eBay but most straps there are fakes.

thank you all.....
it's actually for my dad's circa 1975 gold day date. At that time it did come with a croc leather strap and with a gold rolex crown buckle. he lost that strap as he preferred the bracelet. it's a bit too much gold for me and would like to see it on a strap to experiment. tx again all..... |

You can buy the 20mm original Rolex straps on Ebay and and Original all gold buckle but you need to know what you are doing, if not Stay away. I have bought 2 sets. @ $400 for each set. Your watch will look like a totally different watch.

Just contact you nearest RSC or AD and ask them. They do sell the straps separately. I just went into the Fukuoka RSC and asked about a black croc strap and they had no problem. I think buying a bracelet might be harder though. They also sell the spring bars and buckles separately too.
It's up to you whether or not you mention which watch you're going to put it on.

Getting a strap shouldn't be a problem, but they might not always have one in stock.
